PLANO DE AULA – SEQUÊNCIA DIDÁTICA: BULLYING

1ª aula:

II. Tema: - Bullying
III. Objetivos: Objetivo Geral: - Refletir sobre o bullying na escola. Objetivo Especifico: - Informar-se sobre o bullying. - Pensar no tema a partir da perspectiva de quem testemunha o bullying. - Ampliar vocabulário relacionado a temas da atualidade
IV. Conteúdo: - If clauses - Vocabulário relacionado ao tema (types of bullying)
V. Procedimentos: -Pré-leitura: Iniciar a aula apresentando o tema de maneira mais ampla, exibindo slides retratando práticas históricas promovidas pela sociedade que eram consideradas normais, apesar de tratarem-se (em sua maioria) de ações opressoras (Terra plana, pessoas queimadas em praça pública pela igreja, escravidão, segregação racial). Questionar se a turma se lembra de mais alguma prática que passou pelo mesmo processo de depreciação (mulheres não podiam votar, estudar, trabalhar; futebol só para brancos); E o bullying, vocês acham que é algo considerado normal? De uma maneira geral, é aceita por nós? Já sofreram/ presenciaram/ praticaram? Acham que esta prática deve ser abolida?  (05 min) - Leitura: Entregar o texto ‘’Bullying - Topic Overview’’ aos alunos, em seguida, perguntar onde podemos encontrar textos como esse (internet.. sites que tratem de saúde), como perceberam que se trata de uma informação retirada da internet (link do site abaixo do texto), costumam utilizar a internet buscando informações desse tipo?. 3 minutos para a turma ler o texto.   Perguntas seguindo a estrutura do texto (What is bullying?, Why is it important to stop bullying?, What can we do to stop bullying?) e os 04 tipos pelos quais este ocorre (physical bullying, psychological bullying, cyberbullying e verbal bullying) . (15 min) - Pós-leitura: Exercícios pós-leitura: Exercício 01: imagens contendo os 04 tipos de bullying (Which types of bullying are these?) – Realizar oralmente com os estudantes.  Exercício 02: atividade tratando do bullying a partir da perspectiva de quem o presencia. Utilizando papeizinhos contendo situações envolvendo bullyings relacionados ao cotidiano da turma. – Dividir em grupos e entregar os papéis, dando tempo para a discussão, em seguida conferir as respostas, discutindo se trata-se de uma ação assertiva. Caso não seja, especular com a turma qual seria a ação mais apropriada.   (20 min) - Conclusão da aula: Perguntar a turma: Why is it important to stop bullying?, What can you do to stop bullying. Nos próximos encontros continuaremos a discutir sobre este tema, procurando mudar nosso comportamento em relação ao bullying (05 mim)

Bullying - Topic Overview

What is bullying?  

Bullying is acting in ways that scare or harm another person and can take many forms:

·                     Physical bullying 

·                     Psychological bullying

·                     Cyberbullying

·                     Verbal bullying

Why is it important to stop bullying?

Bullying is a serious problem for all people involved. The ones who are bullied are more likely to be depressed. Sometimes they take extreme measures: They may carry weapons or use violence to get revenge.

What can we do to stop bullying?

Bullying can be stopped if people pay attention and take action:

·                     Speak up when you see someone else suffering bullying. It can  help to say something like, "Cut it out. That's not funny."

·                     If someone sends you a media containing offensive information about another person, don't forward. Print it out and denounce the bullying.
